21. A gardener has 1024 plants. He wants to plant them in such a way that number of rows and number of columns remain same. Find the number of plants in each row.
22. Plot the points A(2, 3), B(2, 6), C(5, 6) and D(5, 3). Connect the points in the order so as to get a closed figure ABCD. What type of figure do you get?
23. If 22x-1 – 4x-1 = 64then find the value of ‘x’.
24. Find the length of the bridge if a train 150 m long is running at 72 km/hr crosses the bridge in 13 seconds.
25. A cycle merchant allows 25% discount on the marked price of a cycle and still makes a profit of 20%. If he gains Rs. 600 over the sale of one cycle, find the marked price of the cycle.
26. Divide 16+ 6x – 4x² + x³ by x – 3 and verify your answer.
27.If quadrilateral HOPE is a rhombus. S is the point of intersection of diagonals. Find the value of x and y if PS = 12cm, SH = (y+3) cm, ES = (2+x) and OS = (2x-1) cm. Also find the perimeter of the rhombus.

OR
Find the class mark of the class interval in which minimum numbers of patients are there.
30. A man buys an Industrial plot of land for Rs. 3 crores. He sells one third of it at a loss of 20% and two fifth of it at a gain of 25%.
Based on above information, answer the following questions:
i) The selling price of land which is sold at a loss of 20% is __________
ii) The selling price of land which is sold at a profit of 25% is __________
iii) At what price must he sell the remaining land so as to make an overall profit of 10%?
OR
What overall profit% will he make if he sell the remaining land for 1 crore?
SECTION E
31. Two solids of right circular cylindrical shape are 49cm and 36cm high and their base diameters are 16cm and 14cm respectively. Both are melted and moulded into a single cylinder 56cm high. Find its base diameter.
OR
A cuboidal box with lid has a length of 30cm, breadth of 20cm and height 15cm. find the cost of painting the inside and outside of the box at the rate of Rs. 5.50 per cm²
32. A race boat covers a distance downstream in one and a half hour. It covers this distance upstream in 2 hours. The speed of the race-boat in still water is 35 km/hr. Find the speed of the stream.
33. Construct a quadrilateral RIDE with RI = 6cm, ID = 5cm, DE = 5.5cm, ∠I = 105˚,∠D = 60˚.
34. Mr. Suresh borrowed a sum of Rs. 65536 at 12.5% p.a. compounded annually. On the same day he lent out the same amount to Mr. Rahul at the same rate of interest but compounded half yearly. Find his gain after 2 years.
