Using a reusable water bottles is an easy way to reduce environmental impact, save money and promote healthy hydration habits. A hydroflask company is designing a new line of reusable water bottles. The manager of the company proposed a cylindrical bottle design with the cap having a diameter of base as 7 cm and height 20 cm.

Based on the above information answer the following questions

(ii) How many times will the volume of the bottle becomes if the radius of the base is doubled?

Case Study: Modes of Transport (Before and After Pandemic)


Before the pandemic, children happily rode to school in private vans. The vans were full of children sitting close together. But after the pandemic, people learned to maintain social distancing.

After schools reopened, some families wanted to keep their children safe. They stopped using crowded vans. Instead, children started coming to school by school buses with strict rules (one seat per student), or by bicycles, or by cabs, or parents dropping them in their own cars, or children walking with their parents.


The total number of students in the school was 3600 during the session 2019–20 as well as in 2024–25. The following pie charts show the different modes of transport used by students before and after the pandemic.
